I'm thrilled. There's a very special new feature: "Smartphone usb tethering for the MoodleBox". By connecting a smartphone to the MoodleBox via usb cable, the MoodleBox provides the smartphone internet connection to all connected devices. This is great in locations without a traditional internet connection.
In my post "Connecting the MoodleBox to a WiFi network" https://discuss.moodlebox.net/d/451-connecting-the-moodlebox-to-a-wifi-network I wrote about WiFi tethering, that you need to configure a system file, and that you must restart the MoodleBox.
The MoodleBox 4.10.0 and the smartphone usb tethering do not need any configuration. Connect the usb cable and enable usb tethering on the smartphone … you are ready. The usb connection works like an ethernet connection and is shown as eth1 in the MoodleBox dashboard. An admin can get all updates for the MoodleBox … for the system software, for Moodle and for all plugins. He can download everything directly from the internet to the MoodleBox.
