Here are my plans for the next image:
- Wait for Moodle 4.3.0 to be released (tomorrow indeed); my current beta version works fine with it, so no problem here.
- Wait for Bookworm-based RPiOS image to be released (this is expected mid-october, but without confirmation yet); my current beta version works also fine with it, so there won't be a big delay.
- Work on the release of next image from late October, since for professional reasons, I won't be able to work on it before.
Summary
Next image will be released shortly after the release of the bookworm-based RPiOS image, but not before november, and the image will be based on Moodle 4.3.0.
I won't release an image with Moodle 4.2.x. But I hear that MoodleBox is used for Moodle testing, so I'll try from now on not to skip any main Moodle versions. As a matter of fact, my plan was to release a Moodle 4.2.x based image earlier in summer, but this was impossible this time, since Moodle 4.2.x is not compatible with PHP7.x.
