We have an education platform (www.petitpouss.fr) and one of our partners want to use it in refugee camps in Niger. But there is bad internet, sometimes no internet. Can the Moodlebox be used there? Thanks, Baud
baud MoodleBox is made exactly for that. Read MoodleBox is a standalone small and cheap mobile device working without Internet. https://moodlebox.net/en/what-is-moodlebox/
Obviously you have to load the content in the form of Moodle courses in to the Moodle LMS built in to MoodleBox. In fact, if you are OK with handling files remotely, you can load other websites, your own or free ones available in the web, in to the web server in the MoodleBox. See https://discuss.moodlebox.net/d/270-install-kiwix-on-moodlebox or https://discuss.moodlebox.net/d/79-add-rachel-usb-on-moodlebox.
For an example from the community, see https://discuss.moodlebox.net/d/243-update-and-fleet-management/4.
Hi Baud, I'm very interested to get more informations about your education projects in Niger. With the current MoodleBox you can connect 20 mobile devices to the MoodleBox wifi at the same time.
Best regards, Ralf
Thank you Ralf and Ratna, I don't know if the whole story about working in camps is something for this platform, otherwise, send me an email: baud@synergoscommunicatie.nl and we can communicatie through that line. Ratna: I wil pass your answer to my colleague. Thanks!!
