franciscoaraujo Is there any way to update the moodlebox system from version 3.5.0 to 3.7.0 without having to install a new image?
Yes, but it is complex and needs that you did not change the defaults of the MoodleBox server (updating Moodle is not a problem), and the result will not be a exact version 3.7.0, but you'll have all the important features: Raspberry Pi OS up-to-date, Moodle 3.9 and the new MoodleBox plugin.
These steps (from memory, no guaranties) should give you an idea. Please understand I cannot give support on this, since I cannot know the exact state of your device.
- Connect via SSH with main username and password
- At the prompt launch
sudo apt update && sudo apt full-upgrade -y and wait several minutes
- Update Moodle:
and wait several minutes
sudo -u moodlebox -g www-data git pull
sudo -u moodlebox -g www-data git config remote.origin.fetch "+refs/heads/*:refs/remotes/origin/*"
sudo -u moodlebox -g www-data git fetch origin
sudo -u moodlebox -g www-data git checkout MOODLE_39_STABLE
- In Moodle, update MoodleBox plugin.
That's all. Enjoy!
