there are a lot of ideas to use a course in the regular online platform of a school and partially in an offline situation with the MoodleBox. You can think about a lesson outside of the school without an internet connection, e.g. in the forest, in the museum or in the art exhibition. The students should write texts, take photos or complete assignments. Please see my documentation of a teachers workshop with the MoodleBox, with OpenStreetMap and with iBeacons.
If you are planning to exchange Moodle courses or parts of them between a normal Moodle platform and the MoodleBox then both Moodle should use the same plugins. Additionally to transfer user results it is necessary to have exactly the same user data (username, firstname, lastname and email) in both Moodle ... and this user data must not change.
I create the Moodle course in normal Moodle, backup it there with all user data and restore it in the MoodleBox. By this way you will have exactly the same user accounts on the MoodleBox. With a CSV file I reset all passwords on the MoodleBox since the passwords are changed by the system during course import.
After the users uploaded their project ideas and working results into the MoodleBox I need to backup the one, two or three activities containing the results ... also with user data again. When you restore these activities with the user data into the regular Moodle course then you will also restore all user results. Use the option to add the activities to the existing course.
